The Aerocopter AK1-3 is a multi-purpose, two-seater light helicopter designed for comfortable, fast, and safe travel. It is suitable for pilot training, private flights, sports, tourism, advertising, patrol duties, express mail, small freight delivery, and agricultural treatment.
The helicopter is designed by DB Aerocopter in collaboration with ASTC Antonov, OJSC Motor-Sich, and the Kharkov Aviation Institute. It meets the airworthiness standards for normal class rotary-wing vehicles (AP-27). The helicopter features a single-rotor configuration with a tail rotor, a cabin width of 1200 mm, and is equipped with a heating and ventilation system. It uses a reciprocating liquid-cooled engine EJ-25 powered by gasoline with an octane rating of at least 95. The rotor is made of composite materials.
The Aerocopter AK1-3 offers excellent controllability, flight stability, and maneuverability with low vibrations and noise levels. It operates independently of aerodrome services due to its use of А-95 gasoline and compact dimensions. The helicopter is operational in 17 countries and is used by the Kremenchug Flying College for pilot training.

THE DESIGN DESCRIPTION Light 2‐seater helicopter "Aerocopter" AK1‐3 is designed by DB "Aerocopter" (Ukraine) in cooperation with ASTC Antonov, OJSC Motor‐Sich and the Kharkov Aviation Institute. Aerocopter AK1‐3 meets requirements of airworthiness standards for rotary‐wing vehicles of normal class AP‐27. The helicopter has a single‐rotor configuration with a tail rotor.
