With appropriate management, this data can be the key for optimisation, now and into the future. DATA CAPTURE & MANAGEMENT By tracking and logging the movement of each item of baggage and each event, the BHS captures real-time data which can be used to manage and analyse the system’s existing performance. The combination of real-time and historical data then provides the basis for optimising future performance. The Crisplant Management Information System (MIS) collates the data from the BHS into 50 predefined reports in addition to enabling additional user-defined reports. The wide range of standard MIS reports includes: • Bag track-and-trace • BHS day end • Handler day end • Airline day end • Transfer bag monitoring ACCESS TO DATA By allowing historical data to be accessed through standard interfaces, the Crisplant MIS enables customers to integrate the BHS data into Big Data sets for further analysis. EASY AND INTUITIVE USER INTERFACE Capturing the data is just the first step: analysing the data requires an intuitive user interface which makes it easy to understand and interpret the data. The MIS features configurable dashboards which provide real-time and historical overviews of system performance in addition to tools for optimisation and planning.
