An attractive modern design that combines a tempered glass barrier panel and a Stainless Steel clad motorized column to provide a secure auomated entry solution where a service opening or ADA compliant entry is required. The Pegas motorized swing gate is well suited for office lobbies & controlled access areas where entry is controlled directly by card reader validation or remotely by an attendant or receptionist using a remote desk top controller interface. Various glass panel design features & column finish options are available to blend seamlessly into any interior design. Gate PEGAS-GL is equipped with a rugged yet silent motor drive unit ideal for many applications & years of maintenance free operation. MT - Motor drive unit The advanced motorized drive platform is controlled by our purpose built ASIC Control with an advanced "ARM" microprocessor. r» an effective automated security barrier system with high aesthetic appeal • controlled via an access control system reader validation or a remote controller input • silent & smooth barrier panel opening and closing movement • safety sensing to prevent injury or damage in case panel movement is obstructed Motor drive unit is supplied in two variants: FAIL-LOCK: in a power failure, the gate remains hard-locked - (with optional battery backup, the gate can continue to operate automatically for a period of 6 hours) FAIL-SAFE: in a power failure (or emergency/fire input), gate panel is released and can be freely opened by hand in either direction PEGAS Gates are available in two configurations based opening angle capacity: PEGAS-GL-E: our base model - barrier panel drives 90° in either direction (entry or exit) PEGAS-GL: offers programmable opening angles for entry and exit with a 340° rotational angle range Materials and surface treatment: Central column: stainless tube, 0 168mm (6.6") (standard finish: brushed satin stainless steel) Barrier: tempered safety glass, thickness 8 mm (3/8") frameless clear glass, width: 850mm (33.5") fills 36" clear opening. Mechanical parts of the gate are galvanic zinc or blackening finished for corrosion resistance. The maximum clear open width for a single gate 41.4" (including a 2" recommended air gap). If a wider clear opening is required two horizontally opposed PEGAS-GL gates can be installed in tandem. Our advanced drive platform can easily be configured so that the barrier panels operate in a synchronized movement in either entry or exit direction.

Gate operation is controlled by our microprocessor based ASIC electronics platform. Our advanced platform design facilitates numerous I/O interface options for connectivity options including traditional NO/NO selectable relays - including the following: • Data/serial bus: RS485, USB or Ethernet (w/external converter) • Configurable dry contact relays; NO/NC (inputs and outputs) • Motor control via digital power bridges with overload protection and current measurement • Continuous internal health status polling, logging & reporting - access errors/faults logs w/ time/date stamps for internal...
