COUPLIX® KX-M-EE

COUPLIX® KX-M-EE

Product catalog summary
Specifications:
The COUPLIX KX-M-EE cables are designed for high-temperature applications, with a continuous operating temperature range from -55°C to +260°C. They feature a construction inspired by EN 2714 standards and perform according to EN 3475 and FAR 25. The thermocouple specifications adhere to EN 60584-3 and ISO 8056-1.

Construction Details:
The cable consists of a Nickel-chromium/Nickel-aluminium thermocouple, polyimide and PTFE tapes, a nickel-plated copper spiral shield, and is UV laser printable. The cores are identified by yellow and purple colors.

Electrical and Mechanical Characteristics:
The operating voltage is 600 V RMS. The cable exhibits high resistance to cut-through and abrasion, rated at four stars. It also offers excellent resistance to chemical environments, humidity, and aircraft fluids, rated at five stars.

Fire and Smoke Resistance:
The cable is flame retardant and produces low smoke, complying with EN 3475 and FAR 25 standards.

Applications:
These cables are used for temperature measurement by thermoelectric effect and serve as extension cables to connect thermocouples to reference junctions in equipment.

Options and Customization:
Other cross-sections or constructions are available upon request.
