Thanks to our patented predetermined breaking points, no damage is caused to the base in the event of an accident, and the bollard can be easily removed with a key. With its timeless appearance, the bicycle bollard based on public bollard Uni is perfectly suited to high-quality architecture and space design. The optional double lock now enables simultaneous integration with two different locking systems, i.e. cylinder lock and 3-sided lock. The bicycle bollard can be supplemented by accessories, depending on conditions and use of the site. For example, with reflectors or protective casing for convenient handling. Accessories in proven quality ensure durability and robustness. Bayonet twist lock The bayonet twist lock consisting of stainless steel claw and base piece is designed to allow the bollard to be removed and reinstalled without compromising safety at the predetermined breaking point. With the new patented “BURRI safety thread” predetermined breaking points, bollards are protected and the foundations and flooring remain intact. Bicycle bollards with predetermined breaking point can be combined well with concrete-embedded bollards of the same design. This facilitates the formation of flexible corridors for emergency vehicles, shuttles and administration, and secures sensitive areas in parking spaces and turning circles. Lock and double lock The bicycle bollard system safeguards the integration of an extensive locking plan. Two different locks (double lock left/right) can be combined, if required: e.g. a cylinder lock for residents and a triangle lock for caretakers and emergency services. The lock is located at handle height, is convenient to use, and is well protected against snow, ice and dirt. The new patented safety thread can be replaced on location, thereby quickly and easily restoring the bollard to full function.
