Product Description: BÖHLER A750 is an austenitic chromium-nickel steel, niobium stabilized, suitable for various industries including food processing, breweries, dairy, paper and pulp, nitric acid plants, explosives production, oil, grease, soap production, leather, mechanical and nuclear engineering, and the aircraft industry.

Properties: This steel resists intergranular corrosion up to 400°C (752°F) and does not require post-weld heat treatment. It is resistant to atmospheric corrosion, steam, water, acids, and alkaline solutions. Optimal resistance is achieved with pickled surfaces. It has excellent cold forming properties and can achieve a mirror finish.

Applications: The steel is used in aerospace components and structural parts, among other applications.

Chemical Composition: The composition includes C ≤ 0.06, Si 0.50, Mn 1.40, Cr 17.50, Ni 9.50, and Nb ≥ 10*C.

Material Designation: Various designations include 1.4546, 1.4550, SEL, S34700, S34709, S34800, S34809, UNS X5CrNiNb18-10, X6CrNiNb18-10, Z6CnNb1810, EN 347, AISI 347H, 348, 348h, AISI SUS347 JIS.

Standards: The steel complies with standards such as B8C, B8CA, ASTM 5512, 5654, 5656, 5674, 5646, AMS, BS S130, BS : S525, BS : S527, 347S17, 347S31, 347S49.

Heat Treatment: Soft annealing is performed at temperatures between 1020°C / 1868°F and 1120°C / 2048°F, with cooling in water or air for thicknesses below 2 mm.
