ATC Spectrum Monitoring:
In compliance with EU Regulation No 1207/2011, AVIONIX provides an ATC Spectrum Monitoring system to ensure secondary surveillance radar transponders on aircraft are not subject to excessive interrogations. The system monitors the spectrum, decodes signals on 1030 and 1090MHz frequencies, processes data, and visualizes results. It archives raw RF sample data and derived statistical data for real-time and offline analysis. The system can recognize excess interrogation limits or abnormalities, triggering alarms. It allows for constant analysis and monitoring of SSR and local ground surveillance systems without supplier support.

ADS-B/MLAT Surveillance-2

ATC Spectrum Monitoring EU Regulation No 1207/2011 requires that by January 2020 Member States shall ensure that a secondary surveillance radar transponder on board any aircraft is not subject to excessive interrogations that are transmitted by ground-based surveillance interrogators. Additionally, it shall be ensured that the use of a ground-based transmitter does not produce harmful interference on other surveillance systems. The AVIONIX ATC Spectrum Monitoring system represents a solution to address this requirement. A specially designed receiver station constantly monitors the spectrum and...
