Product catalog summary
Installation Manual Overview
This document serves as the installation manual for the PosiStrobe CP, a rudder white position and strobe light for aircraft. It provides comprehensive instructions on installation, operation, maintenance, technical specifications, and compliance information.

1. PosiStrobe CP Overview
The PosiStrobe CP is a lightweight, aerodynamic light designed for standard rudder mounts. It features advanced optics, exclusive circuitry, and comes with a lifetime warranty. Key features include a dual-function position and strobe light, a wide voltage input range (9-36 Vdc), and durable encapsulation.

2. Operating Instructions
The light operates at maximum intensity when connected to the aircraft's power supply (14 or 28 volts), complying with ETSO-C30C and ETSO-C96A standards.

3. Installation Schematic / Wiring Diagram
Provides details on power inputs and synchronization lines necessary for proper installation.

4. Technical Specifications
Dimensions: 56 x 44.9 x 26 mm; Weight: 50g; Voltage: 9-36 Vdc; Power: 4.2W (position), 6.5W (strobe); Current: 0.35A (position), 0.54A (strobe); Strobe rate: 50 cycles/minute. Exceeds TSO C30c and C96a standards.

5. Equipment Limitations
The light should only be powered by 9-36 Vdc. Installation requires separate approval, and any deviations from ETSO standards are noted.

6. Testing Before Installation
Lights undergo rigorous testing before release. Testing instructions include using a 12V/5A dc power supply and ensuring synchronization features function correctly.

7. Care and Cleaning
Lights should be polished with automotive polish for protection. Avoid petroleum-based products. Aveo offers a UV protectant spray for additional protection.

8. Notes on Installation
Use tapered headed screws (M3, stainless steel recommended) for installation. Ensure even distribution of tightening forces.

9. Continued Airworthiness Information
Includes reporting procedures for occurrences and details on circuit/wiring protection. Periodic inspection procedures are recommended to ensure proper operation.
Maintenance and Inspection Procedures:
Ensure correct installation and operation during each annual or 100-hour inspection. Remove any debris or atmospheric deposits from the light surfaces using a UV Wax, such as Farecia Profile UV Wax, to maintain optical clarity. Refer to section 10 of the installation manual for detailed cleaning instructions.
Safety Precautions:
When turning on the lights, wear polarized sunglasses or welder goggles to prevent eye damage.
LED Examination:
Inspect individual LEDs according to the provided diagram. If any conditions exceed the specified limits, the light must be removed and sent to Aveo Engineering for replacement under the Aveo Lifetime Warranty Program.

Installation Manual PosiStrobe CP The PosiStrobe CP is a new generation rudder white position and strobe light. It fits almost all the standard rudder mounts of aircraft and also features an optional aluminum adapter mount plate pictured in the installation page. An extremely lightweight, aerodynamic and low-profile design makes this the light of choice for any certified aircraft requiring rear coverage light due to wingtip light coverage zone limits. The PosiStrobe series is the most imitated and copied light by our competitors, but there is ONLY one PosiStrobe, don't be fooled by competitive...
