The bin features a self-supporting design with curved fronts and flat side panels made of stainless steel, reinforced by an internal galvanized steel construction for enhanced stability. The funnel-shaped opening at the top directs waste into the inner liner and is integral to the fire protection system, which is patented and certified.

The galvanized inner liner is sealed with a patented system that, in the event of a fire, collects smoke gases below the funnel-shaped opening. This creates a gas cushion that interrupts the oxygen supply, resulting in a self-extinguishing effect. The construction minimizes temperature increases around the casing during a fire. A snap lock prevents unauthorized access.

The waste bag can be quickly and easily removed from above. The top part of the bin automatically swivels upwards via a gas spring after the lock is operated with a 1/4 turn, allowing for easy replacement of the waste bag.
