ARGOSY Vented (drilled) Aluminum Honeycomb Core is a stiff and stable lightweight product used primarily in tooling applications. Vented honeycomb facilitates the even distribution of heat through the tool. This ensures a consistent, even cure throughout the laminate and minimizes the risk of localized areas of semi-cured material. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS ARGOSY Vented Aluminum Honeycomb Core is utilized in a wide range of tooling applications where light weight, high flex strength, corrosion resistant, low cost honeycomb core is desired.
