Features include low density, high strength, rigidity, shock resistance, sound shock absortion, acoustic absorption, and thermal insulation. The product displays excellent dynamic performance and corrosion resistance. Manufactured to AMS-C-7438 Standards. Vented honeycomb facilitates the even distribution of heat through the tool. This ensures a consistent, even cure throughout the laminate and minimizes the risk of localized areas of semi-cured material. Our VMI solutions are more than just warehouse storage spaces: we take on the responsibility for planning, scheduling, procuring, transporting, and storing materials. Argosy can provide expander tables for consistent honeycomb customers. The tables come in either an automatic pinning option or a manual pinning option. They allow for expansion of honeycomb slices into honeycomb sheets. These machines expand multiple sheets at a time, expand faster than hand pulling, and ensure quality expansion every time. Argosy facilities are equipped with carefully designed cutting rooms (vertical band saw), industrial dust collection systems, and staging areas for material. This setup allows us to provide value-added honeycomb core cut to each customer’s unique and exacting specifications. We also offer “ready to lay up” kits for high quality prepregs and adhesives. This helps customers save material, optimize manufacturing process and increase their production capacity.
