Intelligent Vehicles - Autoca®
The autoca® is an intelligent vehicle designed for independent operation in materials handling. It features variable speed, the ability to load/unload baggage, change direction, and manage priorities. Each autoca® has a maximum speed of 10 m/s and a maximum acceleration of 1.5 m/s². The routing system is embedded in each vehicle, allowing it to select the best route based on traffic conditions.

Track System
The track system is fully static, with no moving parts, sensors, or motors, minimizing the risk of breakdowns and requiring low maintenance. The autoca® adjusts its speed according to the track section, ranging from 2 to 10 m/s, and communicates with other vehicles to maintain safe distances and integrate smoothly into traffic.

Operating Mode
Each autoca® operates independently, receiving orders from a central controller. It can communicate with other vehicles to ensure safe operation and efficient traffic flow.

Maintenance
Maintenance is centralized and can be performed during operations. The autoca® is capable of self-diagnosis and can be manually or automatically moved to a maintenance area if needed.

Loading/Unloading Station
The autoca® can load and unload baggage using a belt conveyor. It has a stationary loading/unloading capacity of 920 bags/hour and an unloading capacity of 1850 bags/hour in motion. The system can handle two autoca® simultaneously, with a throughput capacity of 1450 bags/hour.

Assistance in Operation
The autoca® can perform self-diagnosis and be manually pushed or towed if necessary. It can also be removed from the track without dismantling.

Loading / unloading station The bag is loaded on the autoca by means of a belt conveyor in the stationary position. Loading capacity and unloading in stationary position : 920 bags / hour. In motion (up to 2m/s) the unloading capacity on chute is : 1850 bags/h. The adjustment of the speeds and accelerations guarantees a smooth and safe transfer of the bag.
