This document provides technical specifications and installation instructions for the NF-A13 High Current Noise Suppressor, designed to filter noise from a 12V supply voltage for VHF transmitters or intercoms.
The NF-A13 filter is compliant with the European directive 2004/108/EC on electromagnetic compatibility. It is designed to handle a maximum continuous current of 2.5A and a peak current of 3A for short durations.
- Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
- Mount the filter near the VHF transceiver or intercom to minimize the length of the connection cable, ensuring mechanical stability to prevent it from becoming a projectile.
- Install a maximum 3A fuse in series with the red cable (+12V from the battery).
- Insert the filter in the 12V supply line between the battery and the VHF transceiver or intercom, connecting the red cable to the fuse, the yellow cable to the device, and the black cable to the aircraft chassis.
- Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
When the unit is no longer in use, it should be disposed of at a local recycling plant to ensure environmentally friendly disposal.

HIGH CURRENT NOISE SUPPRESSOR NF-A13 Le filtre doit être solidement et correctement fixé à l’aide du collier rilsan fourni, afin qu’il ne se transforme pas en projectile dangereux s’il venait à se détacher. 1. 2. Débranchez la borne négative de la batterie. Pour une élimination optimale des interférences, fixez le filtre le plus près possible de la radio ou intercom, de manière à avoir un cordon de liaison entre le filtre et la radio/intercom le plus court possible. Montez un fusible de 3A maximum, en série sur le fil rouge ( +12V venant de la batterie ). Insérez le filtre dans le circuit d’alimentation...
