Technical Data Sheet for HydraLink® Doors TYPE OF DOOR: HydraLink® A single panel structural door fabricated with wide flange beams, rectangular tube and built up members. The door system includes track columns and the required hydraulic operator system. The door is operated via a power unit comprising of a pump, motor, and reservoir, which forces hydraulic oil under pressure thru valves, hoses, and hard tubing, connected to a custom pair of hydraulic cylinders. The cylinders are connected to the door panel via the pivot assembly. The flow of the hydraulic fluid will determine if the cylinders are extending to open the door, or retracting to close the door. Customer to specify and supply. WIND LOAD The door is designed to withstand external wind load in accordance with Uniform Building Code design and wind loads specified by the customer’s zip code. DRIVE SYSTEM A single or dual submerged, electric powered, hydraulic pump (s) operates the door. Power unit to be mounted to the floor and connect to the HydraLink® door via supplied hydraulic hoses. Includes a, non-restrictive, high flow, filtering, oil-system, to extend the life of all components. OPERATION CONTROLS Actuation: Up or down push button switch provided. Note: Additional closing safety features are available (I.E. photocell or safety edge). POSITION LOCKING Automatic lock valve, located in the hydraulic cylinder, secures the door in any position. AIRSIDE STRUT ™ For engineering purposes, a built up galvanized AirSide Strut ™, is positioned across the outside of the door at approximately 50% of the elevation. The AirSide Strut ™ elevation will typically allow the placement of a 3’-0” x 7’-0” personnel door. SEALS Seal fitted to the sides and bottom of the door is 1-ply E.P.D.M. rubber, durometer of 60, temperature -20° C/ +70° C.
