The check valve is built with a spring-tension mechanism and a low cracking pressure of 5 psi (0.3 bar). When the pressure drops below the cracking pressure limit, the spring will close the valve to prevent back-flow into the liquid stream. * Maximum working pressure is dependent on port size and port type. LEGEND NPT = National Pipe Thread MS = Military Specification MS33649 (O-ring boss) H/P = High -pressure M/P = Medium-pressure Type M = Cone seal common on high-pressure hoses APPLICATION The NuQuip® Model CV Series CheckValve is used in hydrostatic pressure systems to monitor the flow of liquids and prevent backflow in the opposite direction. The zero leak design prevents leaks from entering the system fluids. Available in working pressures up to 30,000 psi (2,068 bar).
