NuQuip®Model CV Series

Product catalog summary
Overview: The NuQuip® Model CV Series Check Valve is a piston-style, in-line valve designed for high-pressure applications up to 30,000 psi (2,068 bar). It features a zero leak design and a low cracking pressure of 5 psi (0.3 bar), ensuring efficient prevention of backflow in liquid systems.
Pressure Ratings: The check valves are available in various models with different maximum working pressures and port configurations:
  • CV10: Up to 10,000 psi (690 bar) with 3/4” - 1” NPT ports.
  • CV20: Up to 20,000 psi (1,380 bar) with multiple port types including M/P, Type M, and MS.
  • CV30: Up to 30,000 psi (2,068 bar) with port types such as H/P and Type M.
Note: Maximum working pressure is dependent on port size and type.
Applications: These valves are used in hydrostatic pressure systems to monitor liquid flow and prevent backflow, maintaining system integrity with a zero leak design.
Materials: The valve body is constructed from heat-treated stainless steel, ensuring durability and performance under high pressure.
Valve Configuration: Port sizes range from 0.13 in. to 0.50 in. (3.2 mm to 12.7 mm) with styles including NPT, MS, HP, MP, Type M, and Tube OD Seal.
Operating Conditions: The valves operate under maximum pressures of 30,000 psi (2,068 bar) and temperatures from 32º F to 120º F (0º C to 49º C), suitable for water, oil, and other liquids.
Contact Information: Airmo, Inc., located in Minneapolis, MN, provides these valves. Contact via phone at 1(763) 786-0000 or email at [email protected] for more information.

NuQuip®Model CV Series-1

"UNPARALLELED PERFORMANCE AND SAFETY UNDER PRESSURE!" ® NuQuip® Model CV Series Check Valves ■ Pressures up to 30,000 psi (2,068 bar) ■I Zero leak design ■ Low cracking pressure of 5 psi (0.3 bar) ■ Multiple port and seal options ■ Precision-machined stainless steel construction DESCRIPTION The NuQuip® Model CV Series Check Valve is an in-line, piston style valve offering a zero leak design for applications requiring working pressures up to 30,000 psi (2,068 bar). The check valve is built with a spring-tension mechanism and a low cracking pressure of 5 psi (0.3 bar). When the pressure drops below the cracking pressure limit, the spring will close the valve to prevent back-flow into the liquid stream. * Maximum working pressure is dependent on port size and port type. LEGEND NPT = National Pipe Thread MS = Military Specification MS33649 (O-ring boss) H/P = High -pressure M/P = Medium-pressure Type M = Cone seal common on high-pressure hoses APPLICATION The NuQuip® Model CV Series CheckValve is used in hydrostatic pressure systems to monitor the flow of liquids and prevent backflow in the opposite direction. The zero leak design prevents leaks from entering the system fluids. Available in working pressures up to 30,000 psi (2,068 bar). MATERIALS Body: Heat-treated, stainless steel (3.2 mm to 12.7 mm) Port Styles: NPT, MS, HP, MP, Type M, Tube OD Seal OPERATING CONDITIONS Maximum Pressure: 30,000 psi (2,068 bar) Cracking Pressure: 5 psi (0.3 bar) Services: Water, oil, and other liquids AIRMO, INC. 9445 Evergreen Blvd. NW, Minneapolis, MN 55433-5840 USA PHONE: 1(763) 786-0000 or 1(800) 394-0016 | FAX: 1(763) 786-4622 | EMAIL: [email protected] | WEBSITE: www.airmo.com S131.A.0520 © 2020 All Rights Reserved.
