Lowest False Alarm Rates The Insight range has proven false alarm rates (FAR) in the field as well as in laboratory tests. Operational FARs for non-metallic items from the first phase of LAGs screening in Europe are consistently better than 1%. Bottled water alone is especially impressive with FARs of just 1 in 4,000 bottles (=0.02%).
