Here you will find not just instructions for setting up and use in practice, but also i mportant advice about safety, care and Important notice The STRAPLESS 2 is certified according to DIN EN 1651 for a maximum pilot weight of 110 kg ( load test only ). Due to its ultra light construction, it is completely forbidden to carry out acro or extreme flight manoeuvres, including the taking part in safety training (SIV ) and winching! Every pilot carries sole responsibility for all risks associated with paragliding, including injury and death. Neither the manufacturer nor the seller of paragliding equipment can guarantee the safety of the pilot or be held responsible for it.

Handle with care The STRAPLESS 2 is extremely light and intended for a specific use. The choice of materials and design make the harness sensitive to damage caused by inappro ri p ate handling. The “Handle with Care” label should always be borne in mind – the lifespan of this product very much depends on your awareness and consideration. The GRIVEL PLUME alu-screw-carabiner is an ultralight product ( 37 gm, 22 kN ) and requires special care: §§ Do not use the carabiner if visible external damage is evident, or signs of wear appear. §§ Avoid side loading, needless dropping and impact. §§ The...

Delivery & Options Before delivery every ADVANCE product has to be checked by the dealer for completeness of the delivery package and correct basic settings. Features The STRAPLESS 2 weighs only 195 grams and is aimed at hikers and mountaineers who make no compromises in terms of weight and volume. Fixing the Speedkit An optional Speedkit is available for the STRAPLESS 2, with which an accelerator can be attached. The Speedkit comes with four low-friction rings and an accelerator cord. Pass one of the four white line loops on each side of the STRAPLESS 2 through the low-friction ring and then put the line loop over it. Then guide the accelerator through the low-friction rings. Attention: Never guide the accelerator directly through the line loops on the sides of the STRAPLESS 2. Risk of damage due to friction!

Get into the harness Put on & close harness The shoulder straps allow you to put on the STRAPLESS 2 like a normal harness. To close the harness, hook the red and blue loops of the chest strap into the main carabiners. Please check that the carabiners and the other loops are not twisted. Adjust shoulder straps Adjust the length of the shoulder straps of your STRAPLESS 2 to your body size before the first flight. Fixing a front reserve The STRAPLESS 2 can be used with a front container (e.g. ZIP LIGHT). Hang the ends of the reserve connection in the carabiners. Then fasten the container as recommended by the manufacturer. The ZIP front container can be hung in the STRAPLESS 2 carabiners when the lines from the Y-connections are fixed to carry the weight of the reserve. Important advice for using a front container The STRAPLESS 2 carabiner gates must face rearwards. This is essential so that when the reserve is thrown the reserve connections run upwards unimpeded. Attaching the paraglider risers The STRAPLESS 2 has an EASY CONNECT LIGHT SYSTEM. The red and blue markings on the hangpoints simplifies clipping an ADVANCE paraglider in. Attention: Make sure that you screw the carabiner gate locks fully home, and that the carabiners are only l oaded in their lengthwise direction.

Warranty & Service Set up a MyADVANCE-Account on www.advance.ch/warranty and register your STRAPLESS 2 direct online after purchase. You will then benefit from the extended ADVANCE warranty. This includes an extension of the legal warranty o bligation of your country by one year. Your STRAPLESS 2 must have a check every 24 months and be regularly inspected. Damage must be immediately rectified by an authorised service station. In addition, the GRIVEL PLUME alu-screw- carabiner should be changed after 3 years or 300 flights.
