Protection from the start The removable Air-Foam Hybrid Protector is an air(bag) protector with integrated foam skeleton. It is therefore light and compact like a conventional airbag, with the difference that it is fully inflated before takeoff, so providing the full protection of a foam protector. How can it do this? This airbag has PU walls that form its permanently remembered framework. The tensions continuously shared within this structure assemble it into its correct shape as soon as the rucksack is reversed into a harness. High Comfort Thanks to modern 3D methods of harness development the no-seatboard PROGRESS 3 fits the pilot’s body perfectly in flight. Enhanced and lengthened Legpads, and individually adjustable lower back support guarantee maximum flying comfort. Legpad effectiveness and sophisticated harness geometry also give the reversible harness precise weightshift response. Safe connecting 2: Edelrid FORAS For the first time for a PROGRESS the PROGRESS 3 has Edelrid FORAS carabiners and anti-twist carabiner securings. The 51 gram light paraglider carabiners have a breaking strain of 23 kN and were developed at the initiative and in coordination with ADVANCE, specially for narrow webbing up to 25 mm wide. What’s special? The FORAS opens to the side! This gives the Twistlock alu carabiner a wide opening space which makes it much easier to clip to paraglider risers. Comfortable Rucksack Ergonomically-shaped back support from mesh material, b ody-mounded shoulder straps and a padded hip strap give the PROGRESS 3 rucksack mode maximum carrying comfort. Hand loops on the shoulder straps make hiking easier on the pilot. The zip around the edge has a novel system which prevents it from catching rucksack contents.
