400 Hz Distribution & Control PAGE GSE 400 Hz LPCU-53 POWER SERVICE POINT • Easy to install • Simple to maintain • Compact • NEMA-4X/IP-55 Introduction The PAGE LPCU™-53 Power Service Point controls power delivered to a 115/200-volt, 3-phase, 400 Hz load. These can be used for typical Aircraft environments or Classroom and Munitions Trailer requirements. The LPCU™ Power Service Point is normally installed at the load point, but may also be applied at the power source output. Each LPCU™ Power Service Point incorporates a connectorized control circuit board, load contactor, and power/control termination points. The LPCU™ Power Service Point may be applied with loads up to 90 kVA. Standard controls include On/Off, Over Voltage1, and Under Voltage1 protection. Indicators for Power Available, Contactor Closed and individual Fault Status1 are on the door of the enclosure. Converter Start/Stop push buttons, converter fault indicator, and reel control pushbuttons are also optional on the enclosure door. Relay contacts for the remote indication of Summary Fault1, Power Available, and Contactor Closed are provided as standard, as is remote On/Off capability. The LPCU recognizes the status of the cable-to-load connection and will de-energize if the connection is broken. This is especially useful for loads that do not generate any type of interlock voltage. An LPCU™ Power Service Point is furnished with a weatherproof enclosure.
