SMAC BARRIER® & SMACTAPE® SMAC BARRIER® SMAC BARRIER® is a new material developed by SMAC to complete the range of solutions for noise reduction into an aircraft. SMAC BARRIER® is an acoustic layer designed to reduce the transmission of sound and engineered to meet both Bunsen Test FAR25-853a and the radiant panel flammability tests FAR 25-856a without flame propagation. SMAC BARRIER® is usually used behind side wall panels. SMACTAPE® A «duct tape» adhesive style with SMAC BARRIER® allowing easy installation to address acoustic leaks. a 2 inches wide.
