The Heliwell is a large-capacity portable water tank with rigid sides. It takes three people less than two hours to deploy it in the field. It is available in two sizes, the largest of which holds enough water to fully fill a 2,600 USG Bambi Bucket. When taken apart, the Heliwell’s 8-10 aluminum panels are easy to transport in a standard size pick-up truck or slung from a helicopter. Once set up, the Heliwell can be used as a helicopter dip tank or a fire-retardant mixing tank. Features • Tank capacity for the small model is 9,425 USG, for the large model is 14,900 USG; • Can be set up in less than two hours using three people; • Fills in less than one hour (with a 300 USGPM pump), minimizing wait times; • Large open-top (up to 16’ / 4.9m diameter) allows access for even the largest size Bambi Bucket; • Outer aluminum shell separates into 8 or 10 panels, allowing for easy transport; • Heavy-duty vinyl fabric liner will withstand tough physical demands; • Comes with a side fill / discharge flange; and • Comes complete with an aluminum carry pallet for ground shipping.
