Helitanks are purpose-built for use on flat terrain or minimal slopes. These tanks were designed for Type 2 helicopters and can deliver critical water resources to exhausted fire crews in hard-to-reach spots. They can provide a steady supply of fresh drinking water or simply a supply of standard water for mop-up operations. The Helitank has proven itself as a trusted water supply tool. It is available in two sizes and two models, for either standard or potable (drinking) water. Features • Tank is constructed of durable and rugged fabric that is mold- and mildew-resistant; • The harness is constructed of heavy-duty tie-down webbing for strong and secure transport; • It comes with a 4” (102 mm) filler cap and a 1.5” (380 mm) discharge hose with ball valve shut-off; • Its compact design makes it easy to store; and • It’s easy to clean and repair.
