SERIES CIRCUIT CUTOUT This equipment short-­‐circuits and connects to ground the series circuit output terminals of the constant current regulator and assures the series circuit is not powered during the site maintenance and testing operations SCC allows to modify the functional and protective electrical wirings between the constant current regulator and the series circuit/grounding cables by simply operating the mobile upper handle plug, avoiding possible contacts to the high voltage parts of the circuit The cutout includes two sections: § the body, which the cables of the series circuit and for grounding purposes are wired to § the handle plug, which permits different connection combinations between the constant current regulator and the series circuit, depending on its position Easy to use Double entrances of the series circuit cables (from the bottom or the top, to be choosen) Small size and ergonomic Lockable (*) in “Maintenance” position Two micro-­‐switches allows to interlock the constant current regulator power supply and to provide a remote signalling (*) not included in the supply Via della Solidarietà, 2/1 40056 Valsamoggia Loc.
