The projector (top of photo) generates a high-brightness image with auto dimming that is reflected by the combiner glass. Contrary to our concerns, the projector had limited effect on forward visibility. Significant flexibility is allowed for the position of the combiner glass. Some shaking of the combiner glass was noted at certain RPMs in our company airplane, although the display remained readable at all times.
