At the same time, market competition is growing, putting even more pressure on an industry already driven by speed. Lifespan is just one contributing factor in the impressively low TCO – others include cost of spare parts; easy service access; and, as space is such an expensive commodity, the particularly compact footprint. The innovative HI-SCAN 145180-2is pro was specifically designed to meet the exacting demands of air cargo screening. Several advances in technology have been combined to support accurate decision-making; deliver on turnaround speed; and also tangibly improve operational efficiency and productivity – which in turn reduce the screening cost per item. A robust conveyor features tightly packed rollers to help pallets and other bulky and heavy objects travel smoothly through the inspection tunnel, which handles items up to 145cm x 180cm. Integrating the HI-SCAN 145180-2is pro into material handling systems is very straightforward. ADVANCED GENERATORS BULKY, HEAVY OBJECTS The image quality complies with EU (2015/1998) regulations and approval and certification processes are underway with TSA and STAC. This state-of-the art scanner has two 200kV X-ray generators, with one uniquely positioned under the conveyor belt. This layout offers excellent penetration, superior image quality, more efficiency; and easy access for maintenance and service. Digital generator controls support excellent performance analysis and diagnosis and key lifecycle data can be stored on the internal memory.
