Precision finish demands DISC FINISHING UNITS CF ELEMENT SERIES Economical and perfect surfaces for the machining industry The OTEC disc finishing machines in the CF Element series combine high performance with low capital investment and low processing costs. The modular design of the CF Element units enables each machine to be individually adapted to the respective application. This gives the user an optimized process flow and greater cost-effectiveness. Harnessing the effect of the different centrifugal forces acting on the workpiece and the process medium gives a very intense finishing. The unique, patented gap system of the CF Element series enables the gap to be adjusted to an accuracy of 0.05 mm. This variable setting of the gap between the disc and the drum wall enables a very fine grain polishing medium (0.2 - 0.4 mm walnut granulate) to be used. The CF Element therefore produces the best polishing results and the finest surfaces. In addition, this special process prevents the gap from generating much heat.
