CHEMFILM Engineered for Demanding Applications DF1400 and DF1471 CHEMFILM® DF1400 and DF1471 are multilayer cast PTFE films produced using a proprietary process. The DF1400 has a non-conductive, fully fused, PTFE core coated with a conductive fluoropolymer formulation designed to be applied over jacketed wire and cable using standard tape-wrap equipment. The DF1471 is a fully conductive PTFE that is also available with a conductive FEP surface. Features • Uniform tensile properties in both machine and traverse direction • Isotropic shrinkage as a function of temperature • Polymers and additives may be added to individual layers to customize performance • Superior performance in a wide range of chemical, thermal and electrical environments Available in slit widths to 1”, supplied in pad rolls; minimum quantities apply Benefits • Reduced risk of pinholes • DF1400-Non-conductive • DF1471-Fully conductive • Isotropic tensile/elongation properties • Available as master or slit rolls. Master rolls also available at either 18” or 38” wide
