Power conversion Power generation Magnetics Sensors DC Generator Model 5071 Model 5071 5371 is a self-contained, brushless, air cooled generator with a removable field regulator. At 28 volts DC, it is capable of providing up to 250 amperes at a minimum speed of 2,350 RPM and 400 amperes at 7,500 RPM. The generator is of the synchronous, salient pole type, power-rectified to produce 28 volts DC. This output voltage is controlled by a solid-state voltage regulator that is mounted directly on the generator housing. The entire unit is designed to withstand the rugged environment experienced by wheeled or tracked military vehicles.
