This gives aviation authorities and system integrators an economical yet practical alternative to investing in 2K × 2K or 2.5K × 2K monitors for non-critical environments such as ATC simulation & training centers and testing labs. Downscaling is done inside the monitor, which ensures that system integrators can use it without having to invest time and money into adding downscaling capabilities to their software applications. Furthermore, hardware downscaling ensures that grayscale gradations are displayed smoothly and the screen updating speed is maintained. Image Positioning A downscaled image can be positioned in the center or moved the right or left side of the screen.
