This results in significantly smoother images compared to edge-type backlight solutions. With EIZO eBlue, the monitor can maintain brightness levels between 10 cd/m2 and 350 cd/m2 over a lifetime of more than 100,000 hours for long-lasting, consistent performance. Engineered to dissipate heat without a fan, the monitor provides noiseless operation while still maintaining low heat output. Energy Efficiency and Reduced Heat Generation With EIZO eBlue LED backlight technology, the monitor consumes 100 watts at maximum brightness and just 50 watts under typical operating conditions in ATC centers.
